How to adjust ride height on coilovers

  Golf R soon...
Is it something that a novice can do?

Once I have my H&Rs fitted I wouldn't mind setting it as low as possibly just to take some decent photos then jacking it back up to a decent ride height. Is it easily done?

rears can be done without removing wheels, fronts cant be done easily...

Cheers for the that Dave!

What needs to be done in order to do the front myself then? Jacking the front up, taking the wheel off etc...

use the spanners supplied for the front nuts. The lower of the two is the locking off one and the other is to adjust the height. Make sure you tighten them both up together as they will be stronger, dont want to risk threading the top one.

I dont mind helping out.:) Problem is setting the height is easy, getting it all setup correctly is the tough bit. Not sussed out my settings yet.

you ideally want to have the car setup on a flat patch

ie corner weight scales as this way you can get the weight balance correct - trust me the car will feel soo much better.

If you want to drop it for photos then simply lower the platforms, wheels back on. Move the car back and forth and take the pictures.

Then raise them again.

The number of people who just throw coilovers on, then check the ride height to the wheel centre. Spend £150 and get it setup by someone that knows what there doing.

DazG you are relatively local to me, shall we try and organise a group buy on setup. Should get a discount if at least two of us are up for it?

Any good places down south?
