  clio 1.4 16v 02
Im getting a wierd noise when I press the clutch down (clutch release bearing I think) .. a friend of mine told me to try an tighten(adjust) the clutch, is this possible on a 2002 clio 1.4 16v and if so, how? please

suppose its worth a try as I dont get paid for another week so cant buy the release bearing yet :(

It would be a full clutch kit and bearing really mate. May as well with the box and engine separated. Iirc the clutch can't be adjusted. You might be able to lubricate the bearing, but it's not advisable spraying live near friction surfaces. What's the noise sound like?

cheers matey :) Your right mate I might aswell do the hole lot whilst the gearbox is off.. its a wierd noise never heard it on a car b4.. its like a spinning noise a bit like a cam belt its hard to explain, only happens when I push the clutch right down. Changes gear as it should, clutch works as it should. :)
