Sorry for being simple but how do you put it all together? What's the edge trim for?

I recon. There's a bit missing there.

There should be another 90 degree bend to aim the filter into the area behind the bumper.

The trim is probably a different purchase

Or you can buy x2 150mm (legs) 90deg aluminium bends, maybe a 100mm straight incase extra length is required somewhere, x1 100mm straight hose (cut in half) and a filter all 70mm plumbing. Get someone to weld the pipes for you at the required angle. This will be enough to get the filter in the bumper. This will be a lot cheaper than using silicone pipes and less prone to any collapsing. I would have done this myself yesterday but as there was already some form of induction setup there I utilised that somewhat to get the same outcome.

I bought a hill power 90 deg elbow (with breather) 90 deg aluminium elbow off ebay and a shitty ebay cone. worked a treat. need a smaller battery though.

Why not just use these.
An Idea I shamelessly stole from MRTOM project thread :rasp: and will be using on mine
Yes the 90 degree bend says 50mm on there but you just choose 70mm before checkout
