how to change bulb, drivers side ph1 172????

Just noticed when pulling up to my garage, that my drivers side headlight has blown..

Had a lookat how to get at it for when i get a new bulb for it, but cant for the life of me work out how to get at it.
Ive had a search, but cant find what im looking for.
Can i access it from the back, or do i have to take the whole unit out, and can i do it without taking the front end to bits..

You can access it from the back mate it's a bit awkward but it's possible.

What do you do. Twist the wire bit out of the holder sort thing

Where there's 3 gaps. Looks like it twists and pulls like that. But I don't want to break it. I'm a bit heavy handed like that

Tbh mate I can't quite remember as it was that long ago since I've done it. I'm pretty sure the bulb twists then you pull it out. iirc the bulb can be quite stiff trying to twist.

All sorted. It's still working. After a bit more fiddling. Must have been a dodgy connection somewhere

Your not wrong. Lucky I didn't have to bother. But if I can get the parts cheap enough for a/c delete then I will definitely be doing it
