How To Clean Carbon Fibre

does anyone have the best method?

i only fitted it saturday and its time for it to sparkle.

was unsure of any Do's and Don'ts

Depends on how it is finished - what is the part ? Has it been lacquered ? If so treat it like normal paint.

If it has a dull looking finish just use some Klasse AIO on it.

no it has a laquer on it.

you look at it head on and it looks like there is a gap between the actual carbon fibre and the clear top. but if you look across it, it looks smooth!

i duno if you get it.

yeh i think you mean its lacquered.
treat it like your paint so polish it up seal it then get some wax on it.
would reccomend autoglym srp, autoglym egp then a wax to top it off!
then it should be shiney and protected

rather amusingly i found that my mums furniture polish brought my carbon airbox up to its best ever shine.

this will sound daft, but in proper carbon fibre production they use G3 then they use black shoe polish!
