how to clean k&n 57i induction kit???

alright ppl. ive had my kk&n 57i induction kit in the clio for like 4months now and i think it needs cleaning cos im not getting its full potential compared to before. however i dont know how to clean it so can anyone be generous enough and share some info? thanks. :approve:

just take the filter off and get any dirt or bits that are stuck in there out and away from the filter. pipercross filters give you a spray to clean the filter with not sure if K&N do or not

buy the K&N cleaning kit and follow the instructions, some people will tell you to use this, and use that, but why bother potentially damaging the filter to save a few quid, its protecting your engine, its important its working correctly
