How to create an online shopping basket/shop?!

Hi there,

Im a graphic designer, familiar with illustrator, photoshop, indesign, flash etc..

Have any of you guys set up an online shop, where users can have a basket, totals.... and pay for them?!

Is it too difficult to do by myself? Not after a full tutorial, but a few pointers and feedback from people who do it already.

You can buy templates from template monster so then its just all about customisation. Saves a lot of time.

Ive used OS Commerce before and it was very simple to setup.

OSCommerce. Free. Easy to setup and use. Loads of add ons. Good support forums.

I've built 5 using OSCommerce iirc.

My hosting is with heart internet... ive just gone on to my control panel and seen the 'eCommerce' section.... seems to have a few tools built in to it! will give them a ring and see whats what!!
