Did mine last night, they are a right pain to get at, if you have the same shape of headlight unit as mine seen in these pictures : LINK then to do the sidelights easily then you will need to take out the main beam bulb. The sidelight bulb holder is just pushed into the head light and will come out if you pull it with abit of a twist, this is why I recomend taking out the main beam as it get in the way otherwise.

Then to change the bulb, just pull the old one out of the holder and push in the new one.

hmm, although I have a 2005 dynamique I have Renault Xenons head lamp units fitted, which is the same head light unit thats on the 182's, is this unit different to the 172's?
which phase is your 172?

On the main beam you should be able to see 2 goldie looking screws either side of it, loosen these off slightly with a T15 torx screw driver, dont undo them completely like I did and drop the screw into the head light unit though, DoH:banghead:
Once you have done this you should be able to rotate the mainbeam to get the retaining clips from under neath the screws and remove it from the head lamp, this should then put some slack on the wires as they seem to piggy back from the main beam to the sidelight aswell as greatly imporving the access to the sidelight bulb allowing you to get your fingers in to pull and twist it out.
