How to make the alarm sound on a 182? Help!

The light by the gearknob flashes, but no sound from the car?? Does it need to be switched on?

182 Alarm.

I have sat in my 182, locked the car. Waited 1-2mins, waved my arms around, and no alarm sound. When i open the door, the light by the gearknob flashes afew times...

How do i make it sound?

Ah its been discussed before. I've forgotten tbh.. Someones bound to reply with the right answer. I know it can be switched on and off

Right, i managed to get the alarm to sound. But not straight away?

Sat in the car, waved hands around. Opened door waited 1-2mins and then the alarm went off?

I think if you open the door with the key with the alarm set it should go off .

Do the indicators flash? The sirens can fvck up.

I had a lil play about 45mins ago, opened the door with the key and the alarm sounded straight away. Think i woke the neighbours up! ooops!

So it does work now! Seems to be fine now. Any other ways that i can test it tomorrow?
