How to protect the radiator

Maybe Im just unlucky but within the first 17k owning my car I got a rock on the radiator which was fixed when I crashed the car a month later. However this new radiator has got hit by another rock (at 35k) and since its £150 for a new one I want to find some way of protecting it.

I dont think its the cause of the leak from the coolent system (its been pressure tested but still leaks) but its a possibilty and its not covered under warenty.

Im sure I could get a second hand one fitted etc cheap just for safetly but how do I protect it? The cars being lowered so is going to get even more junk and damage.

Any ideas anyone? Anyone else had this problem? Or is it just my driving?

Hows it getting hit? through to bottom "wide mouth" section of the bumper?
Yep its right at the bottom of the radiator. I wish I had a digital camera its the same place almost as he last radiator was damaged.

Mesh it up mate, get some good thick mesh (Jag type stuff) and that should sort it..... itll give it some sort of protection then... worth it after 2 rads LoL

The PSX kit is adjustable damping but fied hight an comes with either 30 or 60mm springs.

The RSX kit is the coilover kit for the car with adjustable damping. Not exactly sure on lowered will have to check.

Ive changed my order in the end to the RSX kit. £490 fully fitted which is chepaer than the H and R coilover kit by about £250.
