How to remove bonnet badge on ph1 172

As per tittle does anyone know how to take it off with out braking it ....

Im not getting rid of it just going to get it sprayed.

I think you have to take off the insulation on the underside of the bonnet then the diamond has some clips on the back, not done it before so could be wrong.
