how to repair sill

ive bent the jack sill on my 172, can i bend it back or should i leave it?

i done the same lol. someone told me to put underseal under the car as the sill is bent rust can happen quickly, never done this though but still no rust .

blowtorch it could heat it up then wack it with a hammer should straight it out

take it you missed the jacking point?
if its the reinforced plate id ask renault to do it for warranty purposes!

ummm its a 172 it aint got warrenty..
ill see if my mechanic will look at it next week when he dose the service.

may have to make a block out of wood so that the wedge sits in and on the jack nicely.

Just leave it pain it if the paints cracked tetc but beding it back not worth the hastle you'll only put more cracks in the metal
