Well?

thrash it from day one? or something more sensible.

the engineers at work said just drive it normally and dont keep the revs constant. is that correct?
 


drive it steady and dont rev the nuts off it for about 800 miles.there is a section about it in your handbook.

The "thrash it from new and it will be quicker" theory is simply just not true and mailto:r@ping">r@ping a car from new will not do the engine, gearbox, brakes, etc... any good at all!

Now I ran mine in correctly, so with a 14.5sec 1/4 mile time and 147bhp @ wheels its definately not harmed my cars performance! ;)
