How to take off the front bumper

Hi guys

It will be greatly appreciated if someone can supply me with the directions on how to take off the the front bumper of my car. I have a Clio II Phase II, and I want to install a new mesh grille in the lower air intake, and its proofing to be more difficult than I thought.

Please help

Dont know about the Clio 2 but if its the same as my old Clio, then there are 5 nuts to do. One is in a recess behind the number plate which needs a long socket to get at. There is one each side of the bumper in front of the wheels, which you need to take the sh*tguard out to get to. There are two underneath the car, they dont need to come off completely, just loosened and then the bumper will slide out. Probably yours is totally different but maybe it will help?

I had a Clio II Phase I before this one, and successfully installed a meshed grille in it. With the previous model, there are two bolts under the main light...and to get to them, you have to remove the unit under the lights. With the new model, this unit is incorporated in the bumper unit...so it seems like Ill have to remove the headlights, which I am not keen to do!
