How to tint Lights??

Does anyome have any idea as to how to tint light on the back of the car.......? It's black and after doint a PS on it, it has kind of appealed to me. Was wondering if there is a halfrauds way or even a kind of laquer that can be sprayed on them to make them look darker??

halfrauds sell tinting spray but it isnt road legal, seen plenty of cars with it on though. theey do a silver one which just so happens to match fors silver perfectly, saw a fiesta wih it done looked sweet, but totally illegal

as long as u have reflectors u can tint the lights...

Ok laquer and black paint and that works fine yeh? Proven? Heh gotta give everything a go once......... MIght try it on a milk bottle or sommet first?

yeah tinting spray is ok unless it runs.... lol, as i found out
iv now not tinted my lights as i have fetching clio mk1 ph2's.

Prehaps the better idea would be to heat it up slightly as you would laquer before applying, so's that it doesn't run? Will go to shop and see what they can do 4 me

then they oversprayed them with lacquer so there was no 'edge' to the paint which may chip.

they look mint would do that to my cup to go with anthracite wheels but it stops so fast i want people behind to get a good warning or crunch

I like that, might go bit darker or get clear ones and go over them with paint n laquer. I just brought the paint n laquer tho, just a case of mixing and applying spray.
