Never..... but have read, seen pics of their 'quality' work...... The rear on H&R's are perfect for road mind. The rear on the ledas are too hard by all accounts. You read PGTI according to your other post ;)

Aye.

The rear on ledas is adjustable, how is it too hard? Very easy to change spring rates too.

Dont believe everything you read, trust me ;)

Spring rates are too hard. I've read various reports from different sources and drawn up my own conclusions ;) A few guys knocking them up in a shed (that went bust, doesnt that tell you something?)will not have the vast R&D knowledge that for instance, Ebaich/ Bilstien will have access to :)

I've seen pics of broken mounts on the struts, thats a build issue.

They are not the be all and end all you seem to lavish praise on. They are over priced?

When did i say they were the be all and end all? lol.

Someone has a bug in their ass, did the chairman of leda sleep with your mum or summat?

I don't even have Ledas, that said I have a wealth of experience with them on 5 GT Turbos and they were easily the best made, EASILY the best at doing what coilovers should do.

Do or did Bilstien/H&R make a set up for a 5 turbo? Leda will look mint compared to GAZ for instance :rasp:

I love the banter :)

What could be better on a rainy sunday?!

From actual experience, I'd say the H&R's are a lot softer than the Leda's.

Maybe because the Leda's are track based. However the H&R's that I have appear to be more compromised for everyday road use - this suits me fine driving 50 odd miles a day.

Also remember H&R's are developed in Germany, anybody that's driven there will know the roads are different to what they are here. Don't recall ever seeing potholes, broken tarmac or bumps. Belguim however...

ledas are crap for road use. too hard! chucks you all over the road. you need a little bit of soft for road use. youll get more feel with the h&rs too and there wont be such a fine line between tonnes of grip and bein part of a wall or something!!! leda is track stuff. road and track are very very different places and you dont have crap surface b roads with bumps etc on a track!

The standard cup set up is very good. I've just changed my 182 over last week. Less roll with the H&R's, a tad firmer, but not a great deal.... and set it to any height you want. Job done. :)

  megane rs & clio rsi
got my coilover and fitted to my meg rs.
but I have a problem. it's on the lowest position, and when i accelarate car starts shaking. what's wrong?
