If i remove ht cables from coilpack do i need to hit the reset button for the ecu ??

i remove the ht leads from the coilpack today on my clio and put the back on when i done this my car felt started and drove like a tractor do i need to reset my ecu to fix this problem.

No, you've put the HT leads back on in the wrong order?

Yup. They're ordered. You've connected them incorrectly.

no there all marked 4 to 1 ive triple checked this. the reason i have done this is i think my coil pack is faulty my car is dead haf the time and just today ive started getting allot of white smoke comeing from the exhaust

White smoke has nothing to do with the fuel or ignition. It means it's burning water. White smoke is burning water, black smoke is running rich so too much fuel or not enough air. Blue smoke is burning oil

so today the problem became apperant started the car and tryed to drive of and all i got was a nice cluncking sound and revs turns out the clutch has failed and give me no signs it was gona happen just my luck :banghead:
