Im actually on holiday for 7 weeks.. but never mind.

There was a power cut on the server, the UPS kicked in and kept it up and running for as long as possible, but when the battery ran low it sends the shutdown signal to the server, hence the server had shut itself down. The server is now rebooted and back up.

PS. I will always be about to poke the newbies !!
