hubs

got a little problem, got two sets of hub and driveshaft from a breakers right and left side.one it turns out has and ever so slightly bent driveshaft so going to swap it with my old one no problem their.
drivers side appears ok but feels worse than my old one which was knackered,i can't hear and grumbles from the bearing but the wheel feels like it's loose so i have had to change back to my old one for now.i'm thinking it must be the bearing in it and was looking at prices for hubs.so can anyone tell me why the driver side hub from renault is £90 and the passenger side going on £150,they look identical to me have i missed something?
also sounds like one of the rear wheel bearings is on it's way out it theirs a boaring noise when i lean on that side at over 40mph.from anyones experience who's had knackered wheel bearings do they affect the handling of the car much?

Yes, a fecked bearing has noticleable play in it, i would assume it effects the drive of the car, never left one in long enough to fine out though, leave bad bearings in to long and it fecks the hub up.

see the thing is mate when i jack the car up and grab the wheel their is no noticable play, but it's hard to put the same force on it a bend would.did you find you noticed it by moving the wheel?was it on the 172 or the rsi?
