Guys, having a quick look on fleabay for some spacers as lowering a 172 always seems to make the front wheels look lost.

Cam across these:

do they look a reasonable option? I know people dont usually buy stuff thats unbranded due to s**t snapping, but they do come with extended bolts and are half the price of the eibachs that dont even come with bolts.

Your views??

Also, is 20mm each side going to be too much you think?

On venom motorsport fk 15mm spacers are £50, hubcentric too. And bolts are £1.61 from demon tweeks.

I wouldn't go for cheap ones, branded every time. It's your wheels and life ffs.

Is it the spacer that is likely to crack though, or the nuts sheer if they are cheapo, non hi-tensile jobs?

Even using the eibach spacers, I would still have to source nuts. Just wondering

Buy some FK's from Venom.
Got them fitted to the front of the PH1.
20mm either side. Came with bolts to bolt the spacer to the hub, and just use your existing wheel nuts to bolt the wheel to the spacer. Done!

so the general concensous is to get ones which bolt to the hub, then the wheel bolts to them, rather than ones with extended bolts?

Buy cheap, buy twice..... if you could buy them again after a front wheel, or two?!

Get the proper ones... hub centric spacers that bolt to the hub!
