Hydro2 Correct Usage?

So, not washed the car for months, thinking to just snowfoam, proper wash but no clay etc and wondering at what stage to put it on?

I may just prefoam, rinse, wash with mitt, rinse, dry, and perhaps Tripple, persume I do it after Tripple, or miss the Tripple out altogether?

Right, my main usage for Hydro2 is after i've already spent hours preping and protecting. When it comes to my inbetween LSP routine washes Hydro2 comes out.

Meaning you don't touch the car, bar with a soapy mitt, the whole reason I like it so much.

Blast with pressure washer, foam, blast again, wash, rinse, hyrdo2, blast, rinse.

I've also now worked out that it seems to work brilliantly on unprotected cars so just a simple case of the above. ~3 months protection and fantastic water behavior is pretty conservative.

So impatient Jamie.... I've bought it but with no idea when I'm going to use it, Might wait and put a layer on Em's car before she goes off to Reading for a 12 week placement as will offer her car a nice bit of protection whilst she's away and it goes un-cared for :(

Wow what fantastic stuff!

I probably used more than I meant to, but I need to get a better sprayer that uses less per spray but in a bigger cone, all I can say is watching it work as you jet wash it off is fantastic, we'll see how good the protection is over the next 2 months :]

Did you not ever get the waxybox samples mate? They are perfect size and perfect sprayers!

They're ALL still full LOL.

Funnily enough, I went through them today and took out the microfibres (even though I didn't need them), and managed to squeeze the 3 months worth of stuff into 2 boxes now.

I must get onto even using one of the products at some point, come summer I'll be alot more motivated lol. If you know of one product that's truly dreadful then let me know and i'll just empty it to use the bottle :)

I did have one q with this stuff - instructions say to jet wash it then let it dry, i presume after it's dried we can wipe away any smears the water has left?

Have you tried this over tripple Scrooge ?

that Audi I'm doing atm is going to be tripled and I was going to reload over it, but it gives me a good opportunity to try hydro

Ill test it out then.

want to give the guy decent protection because he doesn't clean it that much lol. Plus I have to see it quite often and I like seeing cars that I've sorted still clean a few months down the line.

i done a BMW 3 series in the summer, put HD wax over it and its still going strong now (very low mileage car though) love seeing that car in work lol

Yeah I'm still having a mate with this one for some reason :(

shitty halfords paint ain't hasn't helped I don't think.

Supposed to be giving it back to him tomorrow evening but I've just put another coat of paint on it so that's looking unlikely. Gonna be a quick polish tomorrow by the looks of things
