Check the thread in the general discussion. Apparently its not the sunroof its the arial that leaks the water in. I got wet both in my car and my mums the other day!
same here ryan, one corner of roof seems a little loose i was told it might be ariel but no am sure its roof as theres a little play in it! been told the roof liner needs taking out to fix it! sound expensive in labour and want to spend cash other stuff! what to do?
Well The corners of mine are a bit loose aswell as there being a 1-2mm gap between the rubber and glass at the front side (in line with the arial).
When I put my head up towards the closed sunroof you can see the light coming thru.
there was a thread a couple of days ago that recommended using a flexible-sealent like a transparant mastic. I tried that but it only acts as a glue between the rubber and the plastic under it.
So after pissing about with it for a few days Ive booked it into a renault specialist called 5-alive in Lewisham.
Its in on friday so what ever happens Ill let you know on Monday.
If anyone does know how I could fix it PLEASE let me know. Id rather spend my money on something else!!!
silicon it. worked on mine. but if u have a standard alarm fitted up in the consol above ya head do it quick cause itll fry the alarm then itll keep going off and cost u loads to fix. been there already!
