Why does everything have to go wrong!! Knowing full well theres a cruize going on 2moz i though i best get the car into full working order, plans simple: stop exhaust blowing, fit a green replacment filter and then fit a new wheel bearing!
What goes Wrong:
1. Fit new gasket to zorst and it doesnt seal properly
2. Green filter is a complete b**ger to fit and i scratch my air box
3. The bearing from hell!!
Not only is every nut and bolt still lock-tited from the factory, i had to get a 20:1 ratio hydraulic bearing puller from work just to release the driveshaft from the hub, then the 15ton press @ work struggled to remove the old bearing from the carrier!!
Now to top it all off the threads on the driveshaft are kerf**ked from when i was trying to free it from the hub by hand, so tomorrow morning ive gotta take the driveshaft out - get a 20mm die to clean up and re-thread the threads just so i can get the nut on!!
After that ive gotta fit everything back together, hope it works, hope nothing else goes wrong, THEN fix that bloody zorst gasket...
