I bought a DAS 6 kit :)

Insted of making another thread I thought I'd just post up here insted :)

Iv been looking into getting a polisher for sometime so I'm gonna order one this weekend! I have read just about every thread on here about them.

What would you guys say about this shopping basket? I already have the basic things like clay/wax wheel cleaner ect.

Trix is a combination of iron x and tar x so little need for both iron x and trix IMO.

I'm a little unsure on the das6 kit. If you have a wax maybe see if you can get machine, glaze, pads separately and see if it saves you anything. The QD is very good though

The blackmax glaze is said to be very good but not tried it myself . Everything in the kit looks sound I was just a bit surprised at the price, maybe consider the non pro version unless your happy with the cost then get ordering and let us know how you get on

Yeah I have read good things about it tbh. I tried getting everything separate but it was more expensive in the end.

I just got that kit the trix and the ipa. I'll see how it goes, got a mk2 escort bonnet to practise on before I try on anything else lol. If I need anything else I'll post up for help :)

Thanks tho dave!

What kind of polish should I be using when my das arrives, the paint is pretty swirled. I was planning on just giving it a go with some SRP then using some Prima Amigo Glaze over it, followed up with some purple haze.

Id probably just stick to Amigo and get to know the machine and how to correctly use it first. Then progress onto the polishes, personally when going onto the polish id start on a low finishing polish and get use to that before moving onto the more aggressive polishes.
