Just one thing that might help;
I notice here you have used the supplied recaro slider handle.
I found it to be a very poor fit and sat at a funny angle, similar to how yours is. So instead I put the standard handle in a vice and bent it ever so slightly downwards so it has the clearance to move up.
You can just about see it in this pic. Needless to say it works a lot better than the replacement handle which kept popping out of the fitting due to it ill fit.

ha yeah i hurd u lol well renault boffin says he might be able to turn it of but i will let u know also fitted the standard reno slide handle today lot better fit than the recaro one supplied thanks to tompons for all the help bud much appreciated

Where abouts did you pick your seats up from? Im thinking of doing this instead of getting some leather Cobras and re-trimming them.
