I miss my old ratmobile.

  Shed.
Honestly lol. I miss the expression. it took some abuse in its time although imo it was kept relativly clean when i had it. In some ways i prefer the airconless 5 door piece of s**t to the dynamique. The new one feels....electric, and less responsive. It was certainly a LOT quicker than the dynamique, but then it had a different airfilter in and also no air con.

Aye i prefer the colour to the new one as well.

I was a little suprised when you changed to be honest, I would have kept the old one, I imagine the Dynamique was twice the value of your expression.
The old one would of been quicker because it had more miles on, my 1.2 16v was knocking on for 60k and was quite quick for what it was when i got shot of it.
The ladies will much prefer a black dynamique though and the seats are 100x better in terms of support.

Corners better as well. Aye. Well the old one was getting to a stage where it was costing me money, so i got rid. Sold mine fo 1900, bought the new one for 6k form a stealer. yes i could have got a 172 but i wanted the cheap insurance and running costs as im still 19.

God only knows what ill end up with next. im sick of 1.2's now, if the 197 is sub 7k when i next come to buying a car ill get one. not sure if i could get another mk2 ph2.

i miss my old 1.2 16v and ive got a 172!!!

172 is quicker, in much better condition, much nicer interior, much nicer exterior, drives better, handles nearly as good.

but i miss the days of the 1.2 16v, it was my first car, it felt reasonably quick because i wasnt used to anything else, it handled spot on, sounded brilliant, cheap to insure, cheap to tax, cheap to run and CHEAP & EASY TO FIX!!

aye. we all corner at the same speed. on a straight it isnt all that bad. i can still find myself doing 90 (wow big deal) but then for a little country road with a load of bends thats pretty fun still.

I dont know any different though. ive been ina 172 but never driven one.

I think your all mad i had an 02 reg 1.2 16v and hated it to the point where all i ever wanted to do was pour petrol threw the window and light a match it was slow sluggy horrible to drive handled like pooh and just the worst car i have ever had I only drove it for a week and that was because i had to. I sold it my hairdresser and havent dared let her near my hair since.

imo it's a great car for a 19 year old fella

and the fact that it's cheap to run will give you more money to save for something nippier

not always true to be fair ^^^ ive got my 172 at 18 and my mum and dad havn't spent a penny on it, infact my mum thinks its a 1.4 because i knew she wudnt let me have a 2.0 16v at 18 being a driving instructor haha

parents have no idea how much i spend just to have it.
