I need a new jack

  It's A Reno
Love the fact the jack : Warning - Heavy product requires 2 person lift

I like this one mate had one was light to carry too,

only 1.25 ton lift but your not lifting full car so should be fine.

I have one of these and they are awful. All show and no go and some annoying faults.

I also have one of the Halfrauds jacks and they are very, very good. It's what I'd go for if I was you.

mines on sportlines and 15s and my halfords jack doesnt fit under the car.

Oh, right.

The Sealey jack looks like a relabelled Clarke jack. I really would avoid if I was you.
Hopefullt f0xy has some good news for you.

I'll be honest, I'd actually give mine away as I never ever use it, it is that bad, but I wouldn't want to inflict it on anyone lol.

ftw. Ive seen the price vary on these over the past few months, from £60-80 inc VAT. 1000x Better built than the clarke stuff IMO. 9cm entry and 3tonne capacity, cant really get better for the price.

I like the look of that. :approve:
Is the handle spring loaded as the Clarke one is and I wasn't keen on that and was a pain tbh.
Also, what is the ratio of pumps to height raised. Imo a high rate is best.

Who makes them btw?

Spring loaded yeah, handle is huge and two piece.

Not sure on the ratio, but it lifts quickly. Arcan make them, Costco stock them from time to time....price seems to change every time they get them in!

That's a shame.
The problem with spring loaded is, if you and approaching from the front of the car, the handle leans on the bodywork, and if you take it out, you can't get it back in again.

Aye, thats happened a few times with my previous jack lol.

This one comes with foam padding on the handle so you can rest it against the bodywork without any problems

I might go to Costco and have a look, but I know I'll end upcoming home with a stack of 14" Pizzas and a sack of Pistachio nuts lol.

That looks better built. Ive got a clarke racing one and its only designed for very light cars. Seems slightly flimsy.

Nice one pal, has my nob of another asked you about getting hold of one for me (no cost co car in the house)?

Pepperami, cheers pal, I'm loving the feed back I'm getting on the cost co stuff, nothing worse than buying something your not too sure on.

ive got one of those blue machine mart ones, been good to me so far! gets under my 172 with 40mm apexs on easily, i'll be using this jack to put on my coillies when i get them in a few weeks.

I went and bought myself one of those Arcan jacks Jord(Foxy) has a picture of up there ^^.

Seriously recommend getting one as there a decent bit of kit and a bargain at the price they're selling for at Costco. Price had dropped slightly as well when I got mine today.
