friend of mine has given me her I pod to transfer some songs from my computer onto her player. I have plugged it in and seems to be telling me i need to wipe everything that is on hers and put my library on there? which is not really what I want to do?!

Is there anyway around this, to say just add a selection of my songs to her existing library on her ipod ?

Nope no way round I'm afriad mate. You could only do this by burning a CD of the songs you want to give her and giving her them back along with the iPod and her doing it herself.

yes you can, but then when you try manually update it by putting music on it'll say the same thing!
