40 degrees is fine, normal wash setting. Use liquid detergent (Woollite works well) and no softener.

I use the Chemical Guys MF Wash stuff, just put some in a bowl with hot water and leave to soak, occassionally stiring around a bit. Works a bit better than in the machine, cleaner and softer...mmm!

I use Woolite from the Supermarket. Cleaning products are one things, but buying products to clean cleaning products - nah ! flol
