ICE advice

Ive finally found a decent Clio site, thank f@*k for that!! I could do with some ICE advice as thats next on my hitlist.
Ive been told this is gonna work, i just need to know that its right.
ok here we go....
1x Panasonic 4x50w headunit
2x Kenwood 6x9 200w
....to run off the headunit then....
MRV-F407 4 ch 480w Alpine amp
SWR 1041 10" 1000w sub
2x door speakers (any recommendation??)
....to run off the amp.

So is that gonna work, cos i dont get how all this RMS works??

Ill post some pics of my car soon its lookin well.

nice1 people cheers

Hi

that would work fine. However if i could suggest a couple of changes. If you dont have the things already, i wouldnt go for 6x9s in the back as the sub will effect the sound of them and they will flap. personally i would run some 6 1/2" coaxials in the back or components if your budget allows it. running them off 2 of the channels on the amp will sound much better but if buying a second amp isnt an option then the headunit will have to do. Personally i would recommend Directed Audio speakers as they have good sound quality at a good price.

For the front i would also go for 2 way components or some decent 6 1/2" coaxials and run them off 2 of the channels on the amp. Then bridge the other 2 channels of the amp to the sub.

If your budget allows i would aim for the following system:

Panasonic Headunit
6 1/2" Directed components in the front (running off amp)
6 1/2" Directed components in the back (running off amp)
Alpine 4 Channel Amp
Alpine Sub

Hope this helps
