6 x9s?

Mate get your self a headunit and some front replacements for the components, then maybe a sub.

£200 sounds a bit pricey

Ive already got the headunit and an amp for my sub and one for the 6x9s should i get another amp for some components or run it off the head unit the two amps ive got are just powerfull enough for the sub and 6x9s.

if bradford is near to Bolton, try base systems, very good quality work from them

www.basesystems.co.uk

quite cheap on prices too, well best to phone for best prices

also, as tom says below

thats not a bad price mate, depending on what ur having done. if your building a proper install with the false floor, custom box, etc etc £200 aint too bad.

ive got mine in for a install and its £350. but that includes full fibre glass box, false floor all set into the spare wheel well, completely wired with 4-gauge wire and directed RCAs. Its also gonna be layered in dynamat. should be interesting to see the result!

Thats just for basically running the wire fitting the headunit and cutting holes in the parcel shelf. my sub has a decent box so its just gonna sit in the boot. compared to what your having done its well expensive!

Dont get 6x9s and dont put em in the parcel shelf if you have a sub in the boot, the sound waves will overlap and some will cancel out and it will sound sh*t.

What i was told to do it get some decent front components and then justa sub in the boot

The cheapest quote I got for installing an amp was £55 (one place wanted £70!). I thought that was well expensive for what would take a professional about 3/4 hour, so I did it myself with a little help from the people on here!

I reckon £200 is pretty pricey m8. You could save yourself a wad of cash by fitting the headunit yourself cos that is really easy!
