i have recently bought an 02 plate 172 clio of a friend after regretting selling a 172 cup i had last year i bit the bullet and hagled with my mate and ended up buying the 172 at a bargain price.the car came with full service history and recently had the cam belt and defaser unit changed and also a full service.cosmeticaly it needs a few bits painting like the wheels and the rear bumper then she will be a minter again.heres some piks of her

ime still unsure wether i will be modifieing it in any way at the min as the misses uses it alot and likes it as it is,and ime on the hunt for a ph1 172 for a project

Love Iceberg. They look alot better though on Anthra rims, standard or aftermarket.

CF splitters also look really good on them too for some reason.

our lass drives it alot...ile be leaving the wheels silver and just thinkin of addin a fabia front splitter to the bumper thats all as ime wanting a phase 1 172 for myself prefer the shape of them

Ive got the same but the wheels are a sort of gunmetal metallic colour with renault sport stickers which i put on as i think it sets them off pretty nice, looks like a clean example you got ther mate! Always helps if its off a friend as you know if its been looked after

ye got it for a grand as he was skint and in need of money .ile be refurbing the wheels i wanted to do them anthracite but the misses likes em silver so ile just redo them silver for her...ile be doing all the bodywork myself due to owning my own bodyshop .... i would of like to lower it 30mm mil at some point as i think they sit a little high

If you look from the back it looks like its on stilts imo, so mines lowered 50 mm at the rear but still need 2 drop the front! Is any of your panels a slightly different shade if iceberg 2 the rest?? + just noticed that its you who pm'd me bout a bullet lol

noticed wings look slightly different in some light but nowt major matey

Same as me m8, ther plastic so thats probs the reason, the paint chips on the bumper is ridiculous though! Cheap french paint

its a lovely car to drive matey just dont like how it has so much bodyroll i dont really want to lower it much if at all though

Sportlines and a Rear anti roll bar and it's sorted. Seriously. Cost around £250 or cheaper if you go 2nd hand.
