ideas on gearnob removal!!

im wondering how the bloody hell i get the gearnob off! my standard one is worn and horrible so im wondering how i get it off to replace it with the one i bought today!

any bright sparks out there know how to?

on the mk2s you can lift the cap off with the screw driver and then cut it out.

trusty hacksaw, stanley knife and screwdriver!

muller it off mate, there is no easy way.

Heat it up and then wrench it off with a pair of mole grips
