Identify this window motor and mech

It has come out of my mk2 ph1, but I believe it to be a mk1 motor and mechanism as it works on changing polarity.

I've got it out, now gotta try and attatch my motor to this mech, LOL!

I thought it could be but the thing that makes me doubt it is the following diagram in the electric window guide:

Btw the guide explains how the motor works.... (my mech had no crossing of the cables...)

In some way.... if i can get the cables onto my new motor, great, if not i'm going to go and get the two motors out of the rear of the scenic, and be VERY careful to get them out in one piece. They'll be free, so its not a problem if they dont work.

Gonna have a crack at it now, wish me luck.

P.s Would someone confirm if this motor is a mk1 one? PWEASE

Fail, massive one. everything would have been so easy its untrue but then i struck two different problems.

If i could solve either I would have no problem.

The cable from my motors is too thick, meaning it doesnt fit into the new motor, f**kING JOKE.

There are very slight differences in the top parts of the motor that mean I can't just swap the electircal part over.

Two easy fixes, neither can work. I'm gonna pop to the scrappy saturday day it looks like, and pick up the rear motors with cables and runner.

OH.... and now since taking the motors apart I can't get the back together? I can't figure this out in the slightest. Its as if somehow the metal parts of the motor have grown since taking them apart....

I have the cable 90% sorted, just need a second mate with strong hands to help me pull it over the last pully, once i've done this, other side will be a doddle.

I now see what aluco was saying about not being able to do it by yourself!!!

Should have come to you and got you to give me a hand pulling the cable in but it was too late by the time I was done sorting it.

I bought these motors from a scrappy, can go back and get the others all in tact but tbh I cant be bothered! So I'm battling through the hard way!

When i say working darren I mean i have the motor (which moves with the switch) on a mechanism that fits in the car. All I've gotta do is pull this one cable on and its done.

Mate coming to mine tonight, he's gonna help me get the cable on (need 4 hands) then from there we're gonna take it to a local underground car park as it'll be lit, and do the other side. Should be finished tonight. w00p

Sorry only just got back on here, passenger side window now working, wires are run to make drivers side control passenger but I need to figure out why i keep blowing fuses when trying to do this.....

I need to put some sort of loop into the switch but I don't yet understand why....

Its not shorting as such, but the way i have it wires at the moment isnt right. I need to try figure out why the passenger control on the drivers side needs a loop in it before I put one in. Pretty sure this is how it is as standard, I just need to figure out what power cable i need to run to loop.

Fun times.
