new to the forum ..... just wondering what is normal idle for a clio 182 mine sits below the 1000 mark when warm but isnt a real smooth idle many thanks sean

It doesn't sound like he is too concerned about it just yet though!
So I'm just going on that, and it being like all the others

many thnaks just thought id ask cause its had a cambelt around 500 miles with cam seals aswell but seems to idle the same just thought id ask as theres alot of these timed up wrong

Where was the belts done? back street garage?

local garge we have always used just for cambelts never gad a problem they have done 182s before is there any real signs if the timing is slightly out ??
