Idlers on cambelt kit

Anyone know why one is ribbed and one isnt? Both are exactly the same size in diameter and width.

Do they need to go in a certain place? for example the ribbed one above the smooth onbe or vice versa?

ribbed one is the lower, no idea why its ribbed, probably a grip thing

Basically, when i changed mine, i put the ribbed one to the top as this was where it was on the last one.

As they are only idlers this shouldnt make any difference should it?
