Idling revs...

Just wanted to check what sort of revs should my Mk2 172 be doing when idling as I think they are a bit low??

think its usually 800-1000?

Should be around 800 when warm. They do sound a bit lumpy at times tho, nothing to worry about.

Cheers I think its about right then as its on 800-ish...

Just gotta get the passenger door sorted now! (girfriend + clio + wall = crunch!)

I guess something like 800 to 950rpm. hum.. who cares? it gets scaring to see a 2lts at 1200rpm idle...
