IE problem....

I installed FF on my work laptop as obviously it is a better browser than IE. Unfortunately quite a high % of web pages I need to use for work dont support FF, so I uninstalled it, and now using IE again. However IE is not the default browser, which is causing saved web pages on my desk top to not open, and require to select IE eveytime I want to use them.

How can I get windows to use IE instead of looking for FF?

Open Internet Options from Control Panel, on the right of the tabs there should be one that says Programs, make sure it shows IE and not FF.
