If battery dead how do you get into the 182

Quick question

As just realised the 182 has no key lock
But I did have on my 172
The problem I’ve got the 182 is the toy that more than likely will sit for long periods of time , which wasn’t a problem with my old 172 use to just lock the boot with the lock button on the dash then disconnect the battery and lock doors manually
Surly I haven’t got to leave my 182 unlocked when the battery is disconnected

Any advice would be appropriated

Just stick a fly lead from a live and tuck it out of the way.

There's nothing to reinstall. They dont have them on the drivers side. There is no hole and no mechanism. Only on the passenger side.

I think I've tried that lock all of once since having the car from new. It wouldn't shock me if the bloody barrel didn't even turn after 13+ years!
