If you had

Car  soon to be a 200
A problem with your car and they could not fix it( trophy six months old with 6,000 miles ) what would you expect the dealers to do .
 
If they couldnt fix the fault and depending on the severity I would expect a new car. (For example if the gearbox was knackered and they didnt know how to correct it I would want a new gearbox) Call Renault UK and complain in the first instance.
 
What exactly is the fault with the car? If its rattles they wont be able to fix it you will have to live with it like I have to....:mad:
 
No its not starting first time in the morning and i had a 172 with the same problem and it never got fixed . Renault uk said i just have to keep going back until they fix it .

Its probably the fuel mix or the coils. Get them to check all of the electrical connections and that the fuel mix is right on startup. Does it only happen on cold starts or all the time?
 
If youve had it from new and you are the 1st owner, then you can reject it. If they have had 3 attempts to resolve the issues. If the car is on finance this strengthens your legal rights. iirc.
 
just cold start in the morning my old 172 had new ecu ,tdc sensor ,injectors and many more . Is there a time limit for rejecting the car .
 
A 6 month old car not starting first time? There's no way they can expect you to just accept that. If they can't fix it then surely it's a case of replacement.
 
Full refund if they cannot fix it.

Try another dealer though, maybe that one is just cack!

the sooner the better.... i.e. you dont want to be seen to be accepting the issue.

you will always have a stronger case, the newer the car is.
 
How many attemps to fix it do i give them and should i tell them i want to reject the car after x amount of trys
 
give them the benefit from a 2nd chance , then ..........complain like fcuk .
want a refund or a different car ?:)
 
I had probs. like this in year one - 3 times - new ECU under warranty fixed it!

then i comlained to reno HQ for shite service and got £150 in vouchers for the hassle - it meant only £8 for me 18K service.
 
I have sent them an e-mail saying you have 3 chances to fix it or buy back or replace the car .
