ignition coils on a clio v6

just a quick question.

been told mine has 6 individual coils.

i've only ever worked on old motors that always have had one and since buying my v6 5 months ago i blown 3 coils and getting really pissed that i keep having to take it in.

been told that Renault have a modified ignition coil now and that they shall replace them all.
may end up ripping someones head off if any blow again!!!

It's a common prob, your car does have six yeah.

Renault ones are around twice the price of peugeot ones. Loads of vee owners use the peugeot ones (the info will be on here somewhere)

You can change them yourself, although a few of them are hard to get too.

I was told that once you car had done them all once that should be it. Mines had them all replaced (done before I got it)
