My neighbour left the ignition switched on in her Clio for a prolonged period. It then wouldn't start. She managed to get it bump started but it had no power and had to be driven home at 5mph. Once again now it won't start from the key.
The battery is fine the engine turns over rapidly but doesn't make any attempt to fire. She says the immobilser was 'removed' after a previous starting problem so it doesn't sound like that.
I don't know if the battery was flat before the bump start.
Any ideas?
