thats music 2 my ears..I had on on my 172 Cup. Like the thick b*****d i am, i sold it on the car as i thought i was getting a CTR. Instead i got a 182 I will be getting another, nothing aftermarket comes close.

What do you mean bigger body?soz if that sounds thick.lolGET the induction tract optimised, that seems to be the way. Maxogen , bigger body, flowed inlet manifold. Stick on GroupN ECU or re-map to fully exploit the extra air. I think that is more benificial for power than the exhaust.
Have you read the box/instructions as it states if you oil the filter too much when first fitting you can lose hp![/quot
You'll be ok as long as you do'nt use the whole aerosol. lol
I'd be tempted to resite the battery to get a straighter inlet tract than fitting a larger body... but I'm not a mechanic. From reading various sources it seems that a 90 degree bend in the intake is far from ideal.[/quote
I'll go with Andy's recommendations , but I'd think that straight tube with the dodgy looking foam filter sitting in a hotspot ca'nt by that effective.
