iMessage/Message problem....

It's only a minor issue BUT my friend used to have an iPhone so iMessages were sent but now he is on Android and my phone still tries to send iMessages before realising he can't receive them.

I've tried deleting our chat history in hope that it will realise and also double checked his number isn't listed under an iPhone but it still tries it,

Help.

I ended up going back to my iPhone because of this problem.

Have you tried deleting him as a contact and re-adding him? Try re-adding him with/without 004479…. instead to make it seem different.
