immobiliser does it have a rating?

Can someone tell me if the stadard immobiliser fitted to the renault clio from may 1996 to may 1998 (phase3 Mk1) has any Thatcham rateing?

I don't think it will.

The Mk2 one is CAT2 rated (at least the Ph2 one is). Not sure if it'll be the same with the Mk1.

Immobilser is CAT2, will be upgraded to CAT1 if its got the renault cobra alarm fitted.

I had a fitment certificate with either the 182 or the Trophy which stated the class. I think it was CAT1.
