Immobiliser Madness!!!

Only recently, I was driving home, through a rough-ish area, so switched on the door locking from inside the car (console button). forgot to turn it off got out the car that nite locked it up. next morning car is a non starter. with immobiliser light flashing with key turned as far as it will go.

I realised what I had done and wont be forgetting to turn it off again. Only problem is that it sometimes now decides to flash even tho Im locking up/starting up normally. Its just annoying as the car is going up for sale this week!!

Bad timing.


Has any1 experienced anything like this?

why would the lock button affect it? it turns off when you open the door.
i have mine set on auto lock and had no problems

Exactly, I just don't understand it, it's been fine up till then. Was the 1st time I unlocked it from inside before I got out and now it plays up every so often. Im baffled
