Immobiliser question

I know this is not necessarily in the right forum, but need an answer. Does anyone know the make and model of the immobiliser that renault fit to the 172??? Dont have any paperwork etc as bought the car used.

Not sure it matters. I think if you just put "Renault Factory Fitted" that should be fine. Thats what im planning to do on the form that ive just had from my insurance company!!!! I did the same thing with my 206 GTi and there wasnt a problem. I did check with Peugeot first to see that it was Cat 2 though.



I think my company said that if i just put "Factory fit" they would be able to check that it was ok.
