Imobiliser button

hi i have a clio mk1 oasis. on some mk1's there is an imobilisedr button just infront of the gearlever. mine is not one of those it has a dummy button there. however there is wiring underneath the dummy switch and i was wondering if i was to get a real switch from a scrappy (ihave seen loads there) what to i change in the engine compartment to make it a working imoboliser?

It's not for the immobiliser, it's to allow you to lock all the doors (if you have central locking) if you're driving through an iffy area.

If you do have central locking, it should be plug in and go.
