Since it's now available on the App Store, I thought I'd fire up a thread and see what people can do.

I'll be adding some in here at the weekend.

Yeah, vid isnt HD, uploaded direct from iPhone and its compressed it! How do you get it off, and upload manually?

Right, sorted it. Just uploaded it directly from the iPhone to the Mac, then uploaded to Youtube and it's in 720p.

It will probably stay at the same price so wont really matter when you buy it.

FLOL, hes thinking - 'im gonna have that phone later.......for dinner'

will like to upload my own later on, BUT I have never uploaded to youtube before LOL.

Anyways, I have the iPhone 4 32Gb etc etc whatever. If I upload directly drom the phone to youtube, it will not be HD? SO, connect to PC, and take it off that way?
Never taken a vid off an iPhone before as my last handset was a 3G without video!

Any help appeciated.

Yeah take it off your phone from either Mac or PC, if you upload directly to Youtube it will be compressed.

Ok, when creating a new vid in iMovie, how do you make the 'opening' title thingy FADE OUT and allow your video to be full screen instead of being there the whole damn time!??!?!?!?!?!?! Just cant figure it out!!! :(

Got the HD video off my iPhone and uploaded to YouTube. It STILL isnt coming up as HD on YT though!! What gives?? :(

Nice camera work ;) lol...

Great results though, very impressive.

LoL Thanks! Just want to know how to make that 'opening banner' fade away after a few seconds. The one I used there was the 'middle' banner because the opening one makes the vid tiny! Hmmmm!!

I have selected a theme but it doesn't add it? Also are you able to cut bits in the middle of clip or just the ends?

Dont think you can cut in the middle, I tried that.

You double tap on a video reel to add the theme. Go to the dropdown and and select 'opening' or whatever, if its on 'none' it won't display it.

ah right, can you change what part of the theme shows where? Or are you stuck with the same thing all the way through?

The way I changed it was I used 2 different vids, one the first I used the 'middle' and on the second I used 'closing'.

I will be quiet annoyed if you cant make the theme thing 'fade' a few seconds in to a video or add a closing and middle theme to a single video. Hmmm!!!

If you've got to transfer it to your computer anyway to upload it in good quality, then what's the point of editing it on the phone, might as well do it after you have transferred it to the computer?

Yeah realised that was the only way. I hope those additions come in later versions. At the moment it's not really worth the £3. Too fidly and awkward, would rather just wait till I got home then edit it on iMovie for mac. Will post my attempt at a video when I upload it, slow BT net FTL.

Also they need to add upload @ 720p from iPhone!

Will probably be taken down for copyright, surprised previous one hasn't been. Another annoying thing, we can film in HD, but we can't watch HD videos from YouTube. Lame.

Made a video. Imported that video and cut that to first 5 seconds, made that title style opening, imported the same video again and cut off the first 5 seconds, set that to title style ending and then set transition to none.

Right pain in the arse cutting it down to 5 seconds, only way was to keep dragging the end cut off of clip backwards and you can only do that the length of the screen each time, quickest in landscape mode.

Edit: ah do you mean when it's full screen just for a second? That's just the transition none but you could do my method then set title style to none for second part, that should just be full screen then.
