Imported headunits

Has anyone ever brought a new headunit off ebay but from asia?
i.e.

Just wanted to know if anyone who has done this has had any problems or found any issues with them.

Not bought one from Asia before. But mine has got the JDM one in and they use different frequencies over there to here, so you can't pick up all radio stations etc, so make sure that it is UK compatible.

Try find out if it's uk compatible as the seller will most likely tell you it is anyway.

In fact the questions at the bottom ask if it is Asia specific and they say that it is.

Yeah, apparently theres no 'rds' function on it but apart from that its the same as english version.

not sure whether to buy one or just wait until it is released in the uk, whenever that may be.
